Seay Law International, PA is a law firm and legal resource group, providing expert advice, consulting, research, and referrals in all areas of international law. The firm is owned by Pamella A. Seay, who manages the SLI Resource Group and its operations. Ms. Seay has been an attorney since 1989.
In 1989, Pamella A. Seay joined the South Carolina law firm of Berry, Dunbar, Daniel, O'Connor, Jordan and Eslinger, working with James V. Dunbar, Jr. in the International Law section of the firm. She and Jim Dunbar wrote a book titled "Foreign Business in South Carolina: A Legal Overview" which was published by the South Carolina Economic Development Board and distributed worldwide. The international law section provided advice on a wide range of international matters to both international and domestic clients, including businesses and individuals.
Ms. Seay stayed with the firm until 1993 when she moved to Florida to teach. As a professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, she teaches international justice, comparative justice, and constitutional law. She continued to represent clients in international legal matters, evaluating cases, referring matters, and advising clients on the global aspects of their cases.
Her work in international law has led to active involvement in global legal research, identifying and analyzing the implications of international developments on law and business. She has represented clients on matters ranging from international manufacturing/distribution to immigration to international crime to international business negotiations. She has spoken around the globe at numerous international programs, sharing expertise in international legal ethics, international business, and immigration.
In 2001, Ms. Seay became Florida Bar Board Certified in International Law and continued to represent business and individual interests in international matters.
In 2005, Ms. Seay decided to share her expertise in a different way. Recognizing the expanding importance of international connections and the increase in global legal issues, she began providing private review of international legal matters and referral services to clients in need of specialized, confidential assistance in international matters.
This personal approach assures confidentiality and focus on the key elements of the matter, making sure that the best qualified attorneys for each specific situation can be found.
